What happened to the world's "best ever" full-forward, Buddy Franklin?

He kicks a few goals one week %26amp; a number of emotional know-nothing-at-all Hawthorn supporters start bleating on about him being the best full-forward ever to grace our grounds.

What happened yesterday? He kicked one goal - that's what happened - %26amp; against last year's wooden spooners!! I suppose Tigers supporters would now be justified in claiming the bloke who played on Francis is the world's "best ever" full back!

Franklin needs to do a lot more before he can even be compared to the likes of Plugger, Dunstall, McKenna etc...Plus they didn't carry on like a pork chop, like Franklin does, everytime they kicked a goal. They weren't as full of themselves as Franklin is.

He cracked under pressure - that's what happened to him.

I agree with what the previous poster, azzacole, said. The first time he comes under a bit of pressure he wilts. He has been kicking goals in Hawthorns easy wins but it was a tight game yesterday.

Franklin must have missed big-noting himself to the crowd, as he does every time he does kick a goal.
Reply:He only kicked one goal he should have kicked at least five

The Tigers were in the top 8 before the game

Richmond dropped a man into the hole and Franklin didn't handle it that well

Agree that he has a lot more more to do before comparisons should be made to Plugger etc as for carrying on take a look at anybody in the Carlton forward line after they kick a goal
Reply:I dont think he is the best full forward ever, but i think he is still going to be a HUGE star. So what if he had one bad game he still had 9 shots at goal and played down the ground and took some great marks. And because Franklin celebrates after each goal and gets excited and revs his team mates up, doesnt make him full of himself. I think you are just jealous.
Reply:it don't matter it was only time before he had a bad game there still one with out him i just go's to show that if you try and stop him that they have a few more players too take his spot like roughead and don't forget Williams it only his 2nd game since last year so the have a lot of back up

GO FREO
Reply:Yep, move over Sos - Kelvin Moore is the new best ever full back....:0)

And as for Buddy celebrating a goal, well he's certainly not alone there. Tredrea is the biggest tosser in that department, I reckon.
Reply:he is a bloody legend. its practically the start of his career, he'll be up with the likes of plugger when hes had abit more experience. we cant expect him to kick a bag each week give the guy a break.
Reply:I agree hes no plugger or dunstall and I dont think hes gonna break any records, but cut the young fella some slack, hes allowed to have a crap game or two just ask richo bout them haha...

Anyhow his team mates picked up the slack and they won by a nervous 12point landslide.. heh..
Reply:He obviously had Defensive pressure on him. He was frustrated and Kicked badly. Lets see what happens when he plays on a real Defender like Scarlett. He wont get much of a chance to Kick at Goal.
Reply:He got beaten, that's what happened.

And yes, the goal celebrations these days are getting as bad as those mad soccer players.
Reply:Every Player has there bad game where the backman have the game over there opponent... and i guess it was Buddys turn for that... hopfully he can kick some goals next week and get more points for my dream team!!!
Reply:It was the first time this year he has had pressure on him and he did not handle it at all.
Reply:Even plugger had his bad days

Even Coleman had his bad days as well

.
Reply:he plays for the HAWKS
Reply:Yeah, but he should bounce back. 1.7 is pretty poor.
Reply:Thankfully as a tiger fan he had a off day
Reply:he didn't kick straight, luckily for the hawks roughead did
Reply:Lets see you do it
Reply:he still had 8 shots at goal
Reply:yep, kelvin moore is the best full back of all time, maybe the hawthorn one but not our 'moore'.lol.

mate buddy had an off day with the boot, he still had 8 shots at goal, poor kicking is poor footy i guess, lucky for us he wasn't on song.

if that was richo who missed all them shots, it would be"richo can't kick, bla bla bla" agree what you say about how they go over board, he has to play good footy for a few years b4 he can even be put in the same sentence as those guys you mentioned in my opinion.
