Adelaide Crows?

Anyone see the game on the weekend? it goes to show that we can score lots of goals without Burton in the forwardline.

how do you reckon the crows will go in the next 6 weeks? in order, we've got

Hawthorn (Aami)

Brisbane (Gabba)

Geelong (Aami)

Collingwood (MCG.... what a surprise!)

Port Adelaide (showdowns are always close, no matter where the teams are on the ladder)

Sydney (SCG)

tough lineup, aye.
Adelaide Crows?
You can only play teams that are scheduled.

I bet Sydney didn't think WCE would push them that close.

I bet Geelong didn't think Freo would push them that far either.

People keep underrating WB and they keep winning especially over Hawthorn and in Tasmania as well.

Based on previous games against the top teams they would lose to the Cats (Skill Stadium) and Hawks )Launceston).

At AAMI stadium I think the odds are better than 50/50.

Brisbane and Collingwood games are not in the bag for Lions and Pies either.

If you ask these 6 teams I would doubt they would say the game against the Crows are in the bag for them.
Reply:tough 6 weeks ahead, well paced to still be in the 8 after the next 6 rounds.

Hawthorn to be to big in the forward line, Adelaide one of the better backlines but with Franklin, Roughead, and Boyle as the talls it still allows Rioli, Williams, and Dew should be back next week along with the runners who drift forward Young, Hodge, and those types. Think Hawthorn will have too much fire power.

Brisbane will be tough, to win the crows have to stop Black, Brown, and Bradshaw if they can't be stopped it will be another loss.

Geelong, regardless of the ladder they are the still the best team in the competition it will be tough the good thing for the crows is that it's at AAMI

Collingwood and Port, Should be wins Collingwood will be the tougher match, but it seems whenever the Crows play at the G they win. I think the match ups against both of them suit the Crows.

Sydney after seeing them come back from 6 goals down, they will be playing well into September, to beat them in Sydney will be a huge ask and i can't see it happening.

My tip is 2 from 6 ...... maybe 3
Reply:Tough game against the Hawks, will depend on how tough the Crows can play, if they play like Essendon did for the first half on Saturday, they have a chance.

Brisbane are looking quite good this year with the double B forward line of Bradshaw and Brown in full swing. Should be a cracker of a game

Geelong, its Geelong so its always going to be tough but as we have seen in the last few weeks, they can be beaten if the right pressure is applied

Collingwood... well Collingwood are in sizzling form and if they keep it up they will be very hard to beat, especially at the MCG

Port... Port are a bit of an odd team this year. They have played some quality games but have choked a few times and lost matches they shouldn't have lost. It all depends on which Port turns up to play that night.

Sydney are in fairly good form this year and I think that if Barry Hall is playing well again they are a force to be reckoned with... close game
Reply:It depends on a week by week situation.

Honestly Hawthorn and the Cats are too strong. And at the current time so are brisbane in Brisbane but lets look at reality. Players are getting reported for events that would not have been reported 3 years ago so you have to go on a week by week schedule.

On saying that at the current point in time the only match i can honestly see a clear win at is Port but showdowns are always events. Also Baz might be back for the Sydney clash.

But dont lose hope, that is why we love this game, it changes every week.
Reply:i think crows can beat the hawks we might be getting henschal back but if we do only by like 2 ponits

brisbane; in brisbane god there are hard to beat up there no dout about it we don't have a good record up there so i think brisbane but we can win if we play like geelong or hawks we will win.

hard game but we have the home avantage i think we can beat them we have to watch out for bartel ling ottens mooney ablet etc...

collingwood i think we will beat them the demons today nearly beat the pies my god pies might have to fine some form again we will win by about 31 ponits i think

port adelaide: i hate the power i don't want them to win i think crows will win by about 55 ponits easy.

sydney are in great form 5th on the ladder first team in 2008 to beat geelong it will be a hard game watch out for dale thomas dinak medhurst fraser obree waklin davies rocca pedalbre

we should win at least 3 or 2 of them atleast god do we have a hard line up !!!
Reply:All I am going to say is that Hawks are coming to AAMI and Buddy Franklin is going to trounce all and sundry in a HUUUUUUGE win....or you'll do what you did last year and hold us to four goals

Seriously though

Dont see you beating the Lions at the Gabba...too strong there....Cats, you have a shot there, Collingwood, I dont know, it depends if they keep up their form and Port Adelaide, yes because even if they get in front they will choke.
Reply:I hope they win all of those games.

The Crows do have some tough games coming - but they have always travelled well. Some teams are hopeless away from their home ground (I wonder where Collingwood would finish on the ladder if they had to travel as much as other teams?)

The results of these six games will surely show where Adelaide are at %26amp; whether they will go much further this year. I hope they win more than they lose - I'm not a Crow's fan, by the way.
Reply:Very tough rounds to follow - you can't play Melbourne or Richmond every week. You will still make the 8 - need to win at least 2 of these games though.

Hopefully you will be right for a big defeat when you come up against the Swans (although I can't remember the last time we beat Adelaide - it was a few years ago).
Reply:wellll i am hoping u'll lose against hawthorn!!! (go hawks :))

dnt think u'll win against brisbane

nor geelong

collingwood, ooo depends. i reckon they cood win that 1 tho

port, SHOOD win against them

sydneyy. i reckon sydney will win just
Reply:i saw it the umpys were bad i think we did worse with birdman.

we will get smashed by Hawks but i think if birdman stays out and Jericho and Thommo stays in then we will have a good chance a beatin the others and i think we will SMASH power
Reply:Close game coming up against the Hawks - go the Mighty Hawks!

They have won the last 3 against Brisbane, but won't win a fourth

Geelong to get up in another close one

Collingwood to win at the MCG

Crows to beat Port

Sydney will be too strong
Reply:That's a VERY tough 6 weeks.

5 of the top 8 and both of last years grand finalists.

The Crows would have to win at least half of those games if they wanted to finish in the top 4.
Reply:lose the first 4

win the 5

lose the 6th
Reply:The bird man is over rated

he looks like a can oh spaghetti when he flies for a mark

you will lose all but 1 PORT
Reply:fingers crossed adelaide lose them all
Reply:Dnt really care... all i care about is that the Pies win
