Goal 1 - Nice block by Roughhead from the boundary throw in., especially as he got a free for it when he was shepherding illegally. Swallow gets an elbow to the face at the same time. No decision for that.

Goal 2 - No contact to Franklin. Free kick!

Goal 3 - Massive push in Firritto's back. Way worse than hands in the back. Play on says the umpire.

3 goal = 18 points. Hawks win by 16 points. Enough said.

i am a roos fan, and i think there were a few decisions that went our way too. it was a 6 goals to 1 last qtr, and that you must agree is not because of the umpires. the hawks are a good team this year, and franklin is hard to beat.



having said that, i think the hawks are still dirty on us kicking them out of the finals last year and they seem to belt us in the head everytime they play us. last time it was lewis, hodge and crawford. this time lewis and osborne. when will this obscene behaviour stop?
Reply:Now now, Micky malthouse, from what i seen on the telly, the hawks won fair and square, just checked the stats, you clearly had the better of the umpiring, having said that, it all depends where you get the kicks i guess.





mate, it happens to all sides and it won't make one bit of difference in the long run, it is annoying as i will probably doing the same thing today at the G. c'wood always get frees in front of goal. lets see if it happens again today.



look at it this week you have a walkover next week, you don't play. you just get 4 pts for a training run at the G on Saturday, i think Melbourne are supposed to turn up to be the witches hats for you blokes, LOL.

again, like I say all the time. You probobly saw that Franklin wasnt even touched after you saw the REPLAY! umpires dont get replays, they get a quarter of a second!

Corey Jones should have got a couple more frees inside 50.



It was a close contest by 3/4 time and I thought the Roos would be able to keep them out.



In saying that - to be fair the Hawks kicked 6 goals to Roos 1 in the last quarter.



I think you guys ran out of legs. A shame really because they had 3 injured on the bench.

Reply:Mate, Get over it.....................have a look at the replay of the first half again and see how many soft free kicks you got when diving forward and the 3-4 goals you got when Hawks were not paid frees (Ladson %26amp; Mitchell were beheaded when easy kanga goals were kicked). If you want any charity go to the salvo's, but then again they already probably prop your club up.
