I go for the Hawks and they have plenty of talent in their forward line. Dew, Roughhead, Rioli, Williams (highest goal scorer a couple of years back) - I think they'd be fine if he got injured...
Reply:I think you need to keep it simple, the only reason Buddy gets so many opportunities at goal is because he is getting consistent quality feed from the midfield. The Hawks still have other players to go to in that Foward line, and they have already shown that they are not worried about sharing it around. The bonus with Lance Franklin is his X-Factor persona when he is on the field, his ability to move more like a Basketballer than a typical Power Foward.
Reply:because the team would lose a bit of confidence, and others will have more, i think the hawks will want to try twice as hard up forward to score the amount of goals buddy kicks for them, they would have the same aount of 50 entrances but it would be up to jarred roughhead and other forwards to mark the ball, and the ball will probably touch the ground more often which gives small players like cyril rioli to scoop it up and kick the goal
Reply:T. Boyle would come into the side and there would still be 2 talls in the forward line. The focus would be more on Roughead which would be good for Williams and Rioli, as Boyle would still take the 2nd best defender. Throw guys like Hodge and Dew in the mix it's still a pretty decent forward line. Just not as exciting
Reply:They will certainly miss the number of goals that he contributes to the game but they do have a number of other notable players who will keep them competitive.
