FIRST ELIMINATION FINAL

5-HAWTHORN v 8-ADELAIDE at Telstra Dome, 2.30pm



Saturday, September 8

SECOND ELIMINATION FINAL

6-COLLINGWOOD v 7-SYDNEY at the MCG, 7.30pm



Sunday, September 9

FIRST QUALIFYING FINAL

1-GEELONG v 4-KANGAROOS at the MCG, 2.45pm



My picks:

Not yet sure why I am picking this way, first reaction to the fixture. I haven't studied the matchups, etc. as I do each week. I may change before Thursday night, USA central time. but what are your picks?

Port over West Coast, because on the last 2 ocasions the power have gotten over the eagles, and with kerr out and clouds over cousins and judd, the eagles will struggle.



Hawks over Adelaide, i reckon the hawks will bounce back like they always seem to do after a big loss. The crows don't have the mid field run of the hawks, but the hawks are without bateman.



Sydney over Collingwood, Even though the swans don't usually match up well against the pies, they are very hungry for some more september action and the pies are struggling after their loss to adelaide last week.



Geelong over Kangroos, Just because the cats are a real class outfit. they only have one injury concern with egan but i think they'll get over the line on sunday.

Adelaide - Hawthorn have stopped taking drugs and are vulnerable, besides Hawks havent beaten adelaide for years and Telstra dome is adelaides second home

PS MITCH - Adelaide have a BETTER midfield rotation than hawthorn



Sydney too strong for Collingwood - they have the wobbles again so you pies fans should be used to their useless finals performances!



Geelong - Too balanced, too strong, too much to lose



Remember only Adelaide, sydney and west coast have finals hardened teams - and just finally - ADELAIDE IS THE ONLY TEAM IN HISTORY TO HAVE WON THE PREMIERSHIP FROM OUTSIDE THE TOP 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!
